Whether preaching from a pulpit, writing books and plays at a desk, teaching God’s word in a classroom or simply sharing her faith with others, Rev. Dr. Yolanda Renee` Burroughs has a penetrating and captivating style of delivering the Word of God. 

Since ordained by God to preach the gospel in 1995, Yolanda continues to disseminate a perfecting word of hope and restoration to countless men, women, and children both nationally, and internationally. She resides in Houston, Texas, where she was born and raised. 

Yolanda is a humble woman with a philanthropic spirit. She volunteers her time and shares her many gifts for the up-building of God’s kingdom and the edification of humankind. She is living a successful single life. Rev. Burroughs enjoys traveling the world and most importantly, spending quality time with her family and friends. She also enjoys her work as a full-time Chaplain in a Houston local hospital.

Aside from being a prolific expositor of God’s word, she is also an accomplished and gifted playwright. Minister Burroughs wrote, produced, and directed several of her gospel

stageplays including, I Can’t Fight the Feeling, But Lord, What About Me? Will You Take This Man?, and Will You Take This Man, Again? She is the author of three books Never Beaten in the Battle: The Right Attire Matter, The Face of Favor: A Christian’s How-to Guide to Abundant Living, and My Daughter and Me: A Devotional to Help Girls Pray and Perceive What ‘Mama

She has expressed her undying love and devotion to the people and the Kingdom of God. Her greatest desire in life is to please God with the fruit of her lips and life. She strives to always walk prudently and circumspectly before men so that the light of Christ might be made manifest.
